Today, Mungion has announced their plans for New Year’s Eve 2018. To ring in 2019, the up-and-coming jam band will host a hometown throwdown at Martyrs’ in Chicago on December 31st. For this highly anticipated performance, Mungion is scheduled to play three high-energy sets.
As Mungion’s Justin Reckamp shared,
The band is really excited to announce our NYE show in Chicago this year. We’ve been looking forward to playing a proper show in our home city for a long time now. This past year we’ve played a lot of support dates for national touring acts, which is great, but having a show all to ourselves gives us an opportunity to really take liberties in the live setting. We have the entire night to try out some new material and really put ourselves in a position to have a shared experience with the audience. As far as what’s planned, we’ve been floating a couple ideas around… That’s all I can really say right now but you definitely won’t leave disappointed. Get your tickets and bring the crew!
