Kentucky-bred indie-jam quintet My Morning Jacket has detailed a lengthy 2022 tour that will take the band across the U.S. from April through September. Madison CunninghamIndigo De Souza, Joy Oladokun, and more will serve as support on select dates as the group tours on the heels of its 2021 self-titled album.

MMJ will kick things off in Tennessee in April, hosting performances at Memphis’ Orpheum Theatre on the 19th and the Knoxville Civic Auditorium in Knoxville on the 20th. Members Jim JamesTom BlankenshipPatrick HallahanBo Koster, and Carl Broemel will then work through Raleigh, NC (4/22); High Water Festival in North Charleston, SC (4/23); and Moon Crush Festival in Miramar Beach, FL (4/24). A three-night run of Texas, namely Houston (4/27), Dallas (4/28), and Austin (4/29), will turn the calendar to the group’s lone May date, a spot at Shaky Knees Music Festival in Atlanta, GA on the 1st.

A seven-week break will bring My Morning Jacket to June, when the band is set to traverse the Midwest. This run, beginning on the 21st and continuing into the first week of July, will include including MMJ’s first hometown live dates in Louisville, KY in six years on June 24th and 25th.

A show at Seattle, WA’s Marymoor Park on August 11th will then jump-start a run of West Coast concerts, sending Jim James and company on a trek through Bend, OR (8/12); Palo Alto, CA (8/14); Santa Barbara, CA (8/16); Los Angeles, CA (8/17); Taos, NM (8/19); and Dillon, CO (8/23, 8/24), before a two-night run at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO (8/26, 8/27) closes out the month. The band will head back east in September, finishing the tour with stops in New Haven, CT (9/16); Charlottesville, VA (9/19); Wilmington, NC (9/20); Asheville, NC (9/22); Nashville, TN (9/23); and Huntsville, AL (9/24).

An artist pre-sale for all newly-announced shows will begin this Wednesday, February 16th at 10 a.m. through February 17th at 10 p.m. local. A general on-sale will then commence on Friday, February 18th at 10 a.m. local, except for shows in Morrison, CO; Dillon, CO; and Santa Barbara, CA.
