After much speculation, yesterday, My Morning Jacket announced that they would be celebrating the start of 2018 with three nights in Colorado. My Morning Jacket’s New Year’s Eve run will fall on December 29th, 30th, and 31st at the 1st Bank Center in Broomfield, which is located just outside of the city of Denver. In recent years, the 1st Bank Center has become the home of Colorado’s own String Cheese Incident and their annual New Year’s Eve celebration; however, to ring in 2018, String Cheese has already announced their own three-day run at the historic Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York.

The group fronted by Jim James will be supported by unique special guests each night of the run. On the first night of the run, The Revolution, better known as the late and legendary Prince’s own band, will help kick things off on December 29th. On December 30th, My Morning Jacket will be joined by tUnE-yArDs, while the 31st will see Charles Bradley & His Extraordinaires serve as special guests.
