My Morning Jacket will broadcast their August 2nd, 2019 performance at Red Rocks Amphitheatre for this week’s edition of the rock band’s ongoing archive concert video series. Previous webcasts have highlighted the band’s 2016 performances at the Tivoli Theatre in Chattanooga, TN, and the Shaky Knees Festival.

The band’s 8/2/19 show at Red Rocks last summer opened a two-night run at the outdoor amphitheater and marked the first of just four total concerts which My Morning Jacket performed all of last year, followed by a pair of gigs in New York a week later.

The 23-song performance that night was the band’s first in a year-and-a-half and treated their Denver area fans to career-spanning renditions of songs like “Victory Dance”, “X-Mas Curtain”, “Heartbreakin Man”, “Smokin’ From Shootin’”, “I’m Amazed”, “Dondante”, “The Way That He Sings”,  “Wonderful (The Way I Feel)”, “Believe (Nobody Knows)”, and “Mahgeetah”.

While the Friday night webcast will air on the band’s YouTube and Facebook pages for free, fans are encouraged to donate what they can to Louisville Community Bail Fund, which provides post-jail release support to get arrested individuals fed and relocated to a situation of safety in the band’s Kentucky hometown.

Head to the band’s YouTube and Facebook pages this Friday (June 12th) beginning at 8:30 p.m. ET to watch this week’s archival webcast. Click here to revisit Live For Live Music’s coverage of the August 2nd, 2019 performance.
