Nahko And Medicine For The People have announced a new live stream series, Medicine Tribe Television, and have treated fans to a new single, “Part Problem”, off the forthcoming album, Take Your Power Back.

As a supplemental dose of medicine during these trying times, Nahko Bear will sit down four days a week for a healing Medicine Tribe Television Instagram service at 3 p.m. PST. Sunday and Wednesday’s Service will feature acoustic guitar and piano performances from Nahko accompanied by book readings, meditation tips, and more. The weekly Tuesday and Thursday’s “Real Medicine” streams will see Nakho bring on special guests to discuss current events, share camaraderie, provide an inside look into their shared experiences, and voice inspiring messages with a longer IGTV discussion.

The new single, “Part Problem”, marks the group’s fifth release off the forthcoming album, which is due out May 15th on Medicine Tribe Records and SideOneDummy Records. The new single was released in tandem with the New Moon, per Nahko’s tradition of releasing music in concert with the lunar calendar. “Twisted”, “Garden”, “Slow Down”, and “Lifeguard” have also been released to prepare for the group’s forthcoming May album.

As Nahko reflects on “Part Problem” in a press release,

“Admitting you’re part of the problem can be difficult, but raising your hand and asking for help when you need it is essential. It’s the only way you can learn to love yourself and forgive yourself. During this time of great sacrifice and uncertainty, we may naturally get drawn into the harsh edges of fear, chaos, and hysteria, but we have a unique opportunity to ground in and soften amongst it all. What if during this isolation we broke bread with other fears we’ve been harboring? My intentions for this New Moon are pretty straightforward: stay grounded, meditate on the manifestation of immediate global healing, and take responsibility for my part in creating a solution.”
