Multi-platinum-selling hip-hop artist Nas will make his Madison Square Garden debut on Friday, February 24th with a one-night-only King’s Disease trilogy show, MSG Entertainment and Live Nation announced.

The milestone concert announcement follows the release of King’s Disease III, the third installment of Nas’ Grammy-winning King’s Disease series. The first two parts, 2020’s King’s Disease and 2021’s King’s Disease II, were each nominated for Best Rap Album, with the former earning Nas’ first-ever Grammy Award. The series has hosted collaborations with Eminem, EPMD, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, YG, Ms. Lauryn Hill, Hit-Boy, and more.

With beats produced by Hit-Boy, King’s Disease III showcases the poetic prowess and effortless flow that earned Nas acclaim with multi-platinum releases like 1996’s It Was Written and 1999’s I Am. The fourth release from Nas in just two years—he released Magic in 2021 in addition to the three King’s Disease albums—the record comes as part of an especially prolific period in the career of a rapper who famously put out “four albums in ten years,” as Jay-Z put it. Nas makes light of his beef with HOV on the new album in the song “Thun”: “No beef or rivals, they playing ‘Ether’ on TIDAL / Brothers can do anything when they decide to / In a Range Rover, dissecting bars from ‘Takeover’ / Sometimes I text Hova like, ‘N***a, this ain’t over,’ laughing.”

King’s Disease III is now available on all streaming platforms. Listen via Apple Music in the player below.
