Nashville, TN’s free Dancin’ In The District event is set to go down at Riverfront Park on Thursday, October 10th from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m.
On Wednesday, the single-day event revealed their 2019 musical lineup, which includes Leftover Salmon, Slim Wednesday featuring JoJo Hermann, Alanna Royale, and Space Capone featuring KK.
From 1993 to 2005, Dancin’ In The District brought thousands of music lovers to Riverfront Park on Thursday nights. This year’s event marks the second time Dancin’ In The District has been revived since its original run. In 2013 and 2014, it was renamed “Nashville Dancin'” and returned for weekly summer runs at Riverfront Park.
“As Nashville begins to face another identity crisis we felt the revival of such an event as Dancin’ in the District would be a perfect opportunity to remind locals, especially those new to Nashville, that Lower Broadway was once a platform for music discovery,” event organizer Tom Morales said in a statement. “This free community event brought music back downtown and we’re working hard to do it again.”
The concert will be a free, all-ages, pet-friendly event.
