Fresh off the trail of their newest release Identity, Naughty Professor has shared a new music video for the track “I Can’t Sleep At Night” with a fresh new batch of tour dates. “I Can’t Sleep at Night,” features fellow New Orleans musician Dexter Gilmore (Sexy Dex and the Fresh) delivering a powerful and expansive vocal performance as the focus of the track. The video release comes alongside the announcement of Naughty Professor’s fall tour dates, an extension of their Identity Tour, in which fellow collaborators Dexter Gilmore, Cole DeGeneva, and Sam Kuslan will be joining the band on the road for select shows.

The 6-piece future funk outfit, hailing from New Orleans, raises the stakes on this new album. Where their prior releases showcased the group’s knack for self-contained instrumentals, Identity finds the band teaming with a stellar assortment of more than a dozen cutting-edge collaborators, with David Shaw of The Revivalists, Ivan Neville, Mike Dillon, members of The Soul Rebels, and others lending vocal, instrumental and compositional contributions. Additionally, Naughty Professor teamed up with Qmillion (Robert Glasper) to mix the record. The result finds Naughty Professor expanding their music into exciting new territory.
