Late Rush drummer Neil Peart will be honored with a special virtual tribute event later this month on what would have been his birthday, September 12th. The one-night event will feature a slew of famous drummers including Stewart Copeland (The Police, Oysterhead), Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers), Taylor Hawkins (Foo Fighters), Mike Portnoy (Dream Theater), Ray Luzier (Korn), Thomas Lang (stOrk), Rick Allen (Def Leppard), Cindy Blackman-Santana (Santana, Lenny Kravitz), Charlie Benante (Anthrax), and more.

The Neil Peart tribute stream will be hosted by LiveXLive as part of the platform’s 2020 Modern Drummer Festival.
