Neil Young has shared a new homemade video for his politically-charged tune “Lookin’ For A Leader”, along with announcing a forthcoming EP project to be titled, The Times.
The new video, which is shot very similar to his Fireside Sessions home-performance series, sees the grizzled veteran rocker playing acoustic guitar and harmonica from what appears to be the porch of his barn. The entire performance is captured from a hand-held camera–likely filmed by his wife/film director Daryl Hannah–who also helped film each of his Fireside Sessions videos.

A statement shared by the outspoken Bernie Sanders supporter with the video on Friday also reads, “I invite the President to play this song at his next rally. A song about the feelings many of us have about America today, it’s part of the ‘The Times,’ and EP coming soon from Reprise Records.”
