Neil Young takes viewers behind the scenes of his new album with Crazy Horse, Barn, in a trailer for an accompanying documentary of the same name. Directed by Young’s wife Daryl Hannah, the film will run in select theaters December 9th–11th and will be available for on-demand viewing exclusively through AARP Members Only Access December 10–January 10. The album is out on December 10th via Reprise Records.

Filmed in the titular barn, the trailer sees Young and his Crazy Horse bandmates—Ralph Molina (drums), Nils Lofgren (guitar), and Billy Talbot (bass)—gearing up for another go-round. As of late, Young has shown more interest in archival material and reviving “lost” projects than new, original material. With the behind-the-scenes footage, however, the 76-year-old singer-songwriter shows he’s just as spry to get up and kick out the jams as ever.

Barn captures this legendary band in their element, in the wild, as they make music in a restored 19th century log barn under the full moon,” a description of the film reads. “Neil and the Horse are a 50 year old musical family and Barn catches a rare intimate glimpse of their easy humor, their brotherhood, and of course their music, created live, in their own unique spontaneous way.”
