Funk-rock quartet The New Mastersounds have announced their next studio album, along with a new batch of tour dates set for this summer and fall.

Announced on Monday, the band’s next studio project will be titled, Shake It, and is set to arrive on September 13th via Color Red. The studio album will follow the 2018 releases of Renewable Energy and The Nashville Session 2, and marks their first full release through guitarist Eddie Roberts‘ Color Red. To go with the album’s announcement, the group shared a new single, “Let’s Go Back”, featuring vocalist Lamar Williams Jr. Williams is no stranger to The New Mastersounds. They previously collaborated on a track titled “Trouble” with John Macy and Thievery Corporation drummer Jeff Franca shared back in December.

In addition to the new release, The New Mastersounds also revealed a batch of upcoming tour dates for the summer and fall months. Following their appearance at this year’s High Sierra Music Festival, the band will now continue their 2019 campaign with their own brief run of shows in California, Virginia, and Pennsylvania throughout the first half of July. They’ll return to the U.S. come fall for another run of shows set to begin on September 27th in Atlanta and continue until October 17th in Chicago. Tickets for the newly announced summer and fall dates go on sale this Friday, May 17th, at 10 a.m. local time.

The band is currently on tour throughout May as part of their ongoing 20th-anniversary celebration. Fans can head to the band’s website for tickets.
