MCP Presents and SFX Entertainmet have partnered up to create a new festival: The Hudson Project. The Hudson Project will be held from July 11-13th at Winston Farms in Saugerties, NY, the site of Woodstock in 1994.

The festival will host 85 acts across a variety of genres; electronic, rock, pop, hip hop and more. They will be held across four stages, along with a fifth interactive performance area to highlight local artists. A number of transportation options, like shuttles from NYC, will bring the festival goers to the site, where they can then chose from luxury level camping options, pre-set tents with bedding, or DIY camping. Gourmet food, wine, craft beer and cocktails from the Hudson Valley area will be showcased.

On the motivation behind the festival, Brett Keber, co-founder of MCP Presents said, “Our goal with The Hudson Project was the creation of a music and arts festival that also highlighted the beautiful area where the modern music festival genre was born. By offering camping with a genre diverse lineup ranging from Rock to Pop, Hip Hop to Electronic and more, we’re hoping to offer a great local option in the U.S. festival market.”

Michael Lang, one of the founders of the original Woodstock, shared his excitement to have a festival coming back to the area.

“I’m very excited to be bringing live music events back to the Winston Farms and the Saugerties & Woodstock area,” Lang said. “It was always my intention to make a permanent venue at the farm after the ’94 festival and it’s finally coming to fruition. The Hudson Project will be a wonderful addition to the valley.”

This project will keep Camp Bisco event organizer, MCP Presents, busy while Camp Bisco takes this year off. The Disco Biscuits will be busy playing The Gathering of the Vibes, and fans keep your fingers crossed that they’ll be part of The Hudson Project’s lineup announcement as well! Stay tuned.
