The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, also known simply as Jazz Fest, has released the detailed daily schedules (aka “The Cubes”) for the event’s impending return to New Orleans, LA’s Fair Grounds Race Course on April 24th–27th and May 1st–4th, 2025. Set to run over the course of two long weekends, Jazz Fest 2025 will feature top performances by Pearl Jam, Dave Matthews Band, Luke Combs, Lil Wayne & The Roots, Lenny Kravitz, Kacey Musgraves, Santana, John Fogerty, Burna Boy, HAIM, Cage The Elephant, Laufey, Bryson Tiller, Harry Connick, Jr., Patti LaBelle, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, My Morning Jacket, Gladys Knight, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Cheap Trick, Babyface, Diana Krall, Goose, The Revivalists, Banda MS, Irma Thomas, Tank and the Bangas, Branford Marsalis, Kamasi Washington, The Wailers featuring Julian Marley, Big Freedia, Ledisi Sings Nina, PJ Morton, and much, much more. Those heading to New Orleans during Jazz Fest can elevate their time in town with Daze Between New Orleans, a two-day festival taking place at Mahalia Jackson Theater in the heart of the Big Easy on April 29th and 30th, 2025, when the festivities at the Fair Grounds take a midweek pause [ticketing information]. This year’s edition of Daze Between New Orleans will host a lineup led by veteran prog-jam sextet Umphrey’s McGee (playing a Led Zeppelin tribute set featuring drummer Jason Bonham and an original set featuring saxophonist Dave Matthews Band’s Jeff Coffin and Trey Anastasio Band’s Jennifer Hartswick); jam scene staple moe. featuring The Dumpstaphunk Horns (Alex Wasily, Ashlin Parker, and Brad Walker); prog-tronic power trio lespecial with Skerik; The Allman Betts Band New Orleans Family Revival featuring guest appearances by George Porter Jr., Ivan Neville, Sierra Green, The Dirty Dozen Brass Band Horns, and Eric Krasno; a celebration of The Meters by GEOLEO, which features original band members George Porter Jr. and Leo Nocentelli alongside Ivan Neville (Dumpstaphunk) and Stanton Moore (Galactic); and the recently NOLA-fied lineup of legendary jazz-fusion outfit The Headhunters featuring special guests Eric Krasno (guitar) and Weedie Braimah (percussion).
