Last week, The Rolling Stones announced the postponement of their upcoming U.S. / Canada tour dates, including their highly anticipated appearance at New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.

According to The Stones’ recent announcement, “Mick [Jagger] has been advised by doctors that he cannot go on tour at this time, as he needs medical treatment. The doctors have advised Mick that he is expected to make a complete recovery so that he can get back on stage as soon as possible.”

On Thursday, Jazz Fest organizers revealed that Rock & Roll Hall of Fame-inductees Fleetwood Mac will offer up a headlining performance on Thursday, May 2nd, the date The Rolling Stones were originally scheduled to perform. May 2nd at Jazz Fest will also feature performances by Mavis Staples, Ziggy Marley, Tom Jones, Dumpstaphunk, Anders Osborne, and many more. Previously, The Rolling Stones were the only act scheduled to perform on Thursday, May 2nd after 5 p.m.
