The celebration of Prince‘s life will continue with a new documentary called Prince: R U Listening?. The artist’s impact on the musical community is undeniable, and has been honored through various tributes since his passing. The guitarist/singer/songwriter left behind a vault of music for future fans, with the first single releasing just last week. Additionally, the a new four-day event has just been announced to honor the Purple One’s life on the anniversary of his death at his own Paisley Park. Now, a bio-doc that will highlight the star’s early years and rise to fame throughout the ’70s and ’80s is in the works, according to Screen Daily.

The documentary will feature close family and friends, including associates like Mick Jagger, Bono, Billy Idol, Lenny Kravitz, as well as Prince’s former fiancée and protege Sheila E. and various former band members. The film project will take action in 2017 with Emmy- and Peabody-winning producer Michael Kirk, known for his work on Find Your Groove. No release date has been set, but the project is already underway.
