Compounding upon an already busy year, Tame Impala has recently released a brand new music video for an old classic, “Why Won’t They Talk To Me?”

While the Tame Impala brainchild Kevin Parker has spent much of the year supporting his 2020 album The Slow Rush, this Friday video release sees him looking back nearly a decade to 2012’s Lonerism. Shot and edited by Alex Haygarth, Parker released the project for Adobe MAX 2020, a creativity conference hosted by the multinational computer software company.

The video sees Parker alone in a large art studio space performing the song to an empty room. Different “versions” of Parker appear throughout the studio playing the various instruments that make up the track. A Kevin Parker draped in flannel strums an acoustic guitar, while a more comfortable Parker, donning some nightwear, plays lead riffs through an electric guitar while sitting atop a half-stack amplifier. Other Parkers can be seen playing along on drums or synthesizer while a shoeless and summery Parker sings the resonant vocal parts.
