Rockers AC/DC have officially confirmed two bits of information that were previously assumed to be true: the band will be releasing a new album, and guitarist Malcolm Young will not be on it.

AC/DC’s fifteenth album, Rock Or Bust, will be released on December 2nd. Their first album in eight years will include eleven new tracks, including the single “Play Ball,” which will be used promotionally for the MLB postseason.

Rock Or Bust will be the first album, unfortunately, to not feature guitarwork from Malcolm Young. AC/DC was founded by brothers Angus and Malcolm Young, but, back in April, Malcolm suffered a stroke. Subbing in for Malcolm is Stevie Young, the nephew of both Angus and Malcolm. Stevie will record on the album, and accompany AC/DC on tour in 2015.
