In October, fans of Jerry Garcia will be able to get their hands on the next installment of GarciaLive. This latest release is extra special, as the 1975 show was JGB’s only New Year’s Eve performance, a time slot usually filled by the Grateful Dead. 

GarciaLive Volume Five: December 31st, 1975 Keystone Berkeley features members of Sly and The Family Stone for the full show, as well as Bob Weir, Mickey Hart and Kingfish’s Matt Kelly for the second and third sets. A confirmed release date has yet to be announced, but you can check out the set list below:

The first four installments of GarciaLive include Volume 1, JGB live from the Capitol Theater, 3/1/80; Volume 2, JGB live from the Greek Theater in Berkeley, CA, 8/5/90; Volume 3, Legion of Mary live from the Paramount in Portland, OR, 12/14-15/74, which L4LM has previously reviewed; and finally, Volume 4, JGB live from Veteran’s Hall in California, 3/22/78.
