Led Zeppelin, in an effort that seems singularly devoted to making money, is planning to re-issue their entire discography over the course of the next few years. The main incentive to buy these new albums is the previously unreleased material.

Yesterday, an instrumental geared for Led Zeppelin II surfaced. Called “La La,” the short piece is infused with John Paul Jones’ organ, with heavy drumming from John Bonham and roaring guitarwork from the master, Jimmy Page. It’s a raw cut of what would have been an interesting addition to LZII, but was eventually scrapped from the album plans.

You can listen to “La La” below:

Led Zeppelin frontman Robert Plant, who is excluded from this recording, recently commented on his reluctance to reunite with Jones and Page, likening an LZ reunion to that of an Eagles tour. “I’m not part of a jukebox,” said the iconic singer.

Regardless, this is a cool track and definitely worth the listen.
