It has just been revealed that phenom drummer Nikki Glaspie from the Nth Power (and formerly of Dumpstaphunk) has announced a late-night jam session at Cameo Gallery in Brooklyn, after Lettuce plays right around the corner at Brooklyn Bowl. The Official Post-Lettuce afterparty is set to go off with a slew of funky special guests (we are sure you can guess at least a couple of our vegetable friends who will show up off the bat), so keep some energy in your funk tank, because it’s going to be a late night. Get tickets here.

In the opening slot for your listening pleasure will be Marvel Years, a Electro Soul / Future Funk / Hip Hop Producer & Guitarist out of Burlington, VT. Much more than your average DJ/producer, Marvel Years is an incredible guitarist that shreds well beyond his years. His approach to blending electronic beats and shredding soulful guitar on his original tracks and remixes creates a sound that is a unique hybrid of EDM combing glitch, retro-funk, soul, jazz and hip-hop. In the wake of his creation leaves listeners with the irresistible urge to get up and move. Marvel Years, aka Cory Wythe has opened up for Pretty Lights and The Floozies, played alongside Mikey Thunder at Pretty Lights’ sold-out Red Rocks show, and spent time on the road with GRiZ. Trust us on this one, you’re going to enjoy his set.
