Jones and Staples teamed up last year when the two released their first-ever collaboration in October with “I’ll Be Gone”, a gospel-influenced tune written by Pete Remm. Jones and Staples have performed together on numerous occasions, including a rendition of “You Are Not Alone” at Staples’ all-star 80th birthday concert last year as well.

Jones is also scheduled to perform at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival come spring. The veteran singer-songwriter released her latest studio effort last April with Begin Again. Staples also released a new studio album last year with the Ben Harper-produced We Get By.

Tickets for Jones and Staples’ 2020 performances together go on sale this Friday, February 28th, at 10 a.m. local. Head to Jones’ website for more information.
