Over its eight-year existence, Chicago’s North Coast Music Festival has become one of the summer’s elite festivals, with a built-in local base that brings in thousands of people from all over the country. And while the overall musical diversity of the fest has expanded over the years to include a myriad of genres, co-producers/promoters Silver Wrapper, React Presents, Cold Grums and Metronome have stayed true to their core demographic in securing a mixture of top talent from the electronic, jam, and hip-hop scenes. Set to take place from Friday, September 1 to Sunday, September 3, 2017, this year’s NCMF looks to be the best yet.

Friday’s festivities will see back-to-back performances from Deadmau5 and Eric Prydz, with another headlining set from Gucci Mane. Also performing on Friday are Bonobo (Live), Lil Dicky, Lettuce, and BADBADNOTGOOD. Another surprise guest will be announced at later date, along with The Russ Liquid TestHarrison BromeWebsterxAkenya, and Chicago’s resident laidback DJ Edamame.

On Saturday, reggae prodigy Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley, instrumental electronic rock ensemble Sound Tribe Sector Nine, and champion of Chipotle and wild bass heaters Carnage will close out the evening in extraordinary style and spectacle. Day 2 will also see live sets from Big BoiJoe Russo’s Almost Dead, and Manic Focus with his accompanying live band. Attendees can also look forward to  Paul MaloneDon DiabloTank and the Bangas, A Tribe Called Red, Whethan, Spafford, SunSquabi, London On Da The Track, Goldfish, Saint Wknd, and Carlile.

Finally, eclectic alt-rock heroes Ween, iconic electronic composer Tipper, and a soon to be announced “special surprise headliner” will close out the weekend on Sunday. Day 3 will also be graced by performances from Skepta, Hippie Sabotage, and three more surprise guests. Other acts include Destructo, The Cool KidsElephante, Electric Guest, Late Night Radio, Vallis Alps, Kasbo, and Chicago’s own Rich Jones.

North Coast’s five surprise artists, painters for the heralded Live Graffiti Area and DJ lineup for the Silent Disco and the House Dome will be revealed over the coming weeks. More information can be found on the festival website. See below for the full announcement:
