Flagship soundboard streaming service nugs.net has announced a new holiday promotion benefiting Sweet Relief’s COVID-19 Musicians Fund. This holiday season, nugs is offering discounted year-long subscriptions for $50 as opposed to the normal $129.99 rate.

Every discounted subscription purchased between December 2nd and January 2nd will automatically trigger a $5 donation from nugs to Sweet Relief. Founded in 1994, Sweet Relief has dedicated itself to providing necessary medical and financial assistance to working musicians and music professionals. In the organization’s quarter-century of charity, its services have never been more gravely needed than in 2020 and beyond as the pandemic keeps thousands of musicians out of work.

While nugs has been an ardent supporter of Sweet Relief throughout the years, this $80 discount has marked its greatest contribution thus far. Since COVID-19 shut down all live music back in March, nugs has streamed over 800 concerts from hundreds of artists and raised millions for various charities with its partners including Phish, Pearl Jam, and Metallica.

Nugs.net founder and CEO Brad Serling said in a statement,

For the last 18 years, we have remained focused on one thing: live music. In that time, we’ve live-streamed thousands of concerts and added new recordings to the service on a nightly basis.  During the pandemic, our on-demand access to live music has been a lifeline to fans.  We’re excited to open it up for even more to enjoy.

It is incredibly important for us to support the countless unemployed workers, and musicians who rely on income touring and live music. Some of them are dealing with medical bills stemming from personal struggles with the virus.  That’s why, we are donating a portion of every new nugs.net subscription to support Sweet Relief’s mission to assist those musicians and industry workers directly impacted by the virus. This promotion is good news for live music fans, and it’s desperately needed support for the bedrock of the live music community.

Discounted annual nugs subscriptions are available here through January 2nd.
