Later this month, big names within the music community ranging from Stevie Wonder to Carole King will take part in Nurse Heroes Live!, a virtual benefit event that will honor nurses across the country who have been on the front line in the ongoing fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
Announced on Tuesday, the Nurse Heroes Live! benefit will air on Thanksgiving (11/26) beginning at 7 p.m. ET, and will feature performances from Allen Stone, The Wailers, Andrea Bocelli, Céline Dion, Gloria Estefan, Emily Estefan, David Foster, Katharine McPhee Foster, Josh Groban, Maluma, Leslie Odom Jr., Pitbull, and Black Eyed Peas. Comedian Whoopi Goldberg will serve as the event’s host, while Billy Crystal, Oprah Winfrey, and more will also appear as special guests.
The event will be free to watch on Nurse Heroes‘ YouTube and Facebook pages, along with LiveXLive, and viewers are encouraged to donate what money they can to benefit nursing programs and scholarship opportunities to aid future generations of nurses and healthcare professionals.
