Last night’s SOLD OUT The Avett Brothers show at Rumsey Playfield in Central Park in was postponed due to a tornado watch in New York City. The show has been rescheduled to Monday, September 24 and while all refunded tickets will be reimbursed, fans can still use their original tickets for Monday’s show.

It is with great disappointment that we need to postpone our show tonight at Summer Stage in NYC. The severe weather warnings (tornado watch, lightning, heavy winds, and rain) have rendered this show unsafe for us and for the fans. The show will now be on MONDAY 9/24, and all tickets will be honored then. We appreciate your understanding and apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Thank you for all the continued support and we hope to see you in NYC on Monday!

Out of concern for the safety of all involved, tonight’s sold out Avett Brothers concert at Rumsey Playfield in Central Park has been RESCHEDULED for Monday Sept. 24 at 7:30pm, due to dangerous weather conditions.
All tickets purchased will be honored at the gate on Monday night. For those unable to attend, refunds will be available at point of purchase. Additionally, please check with Ticketmaster for possible refunded tickets (if any) being made available for purchase.
We appreciate your understanding and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, but the safety of the fans is of paramount importance to The Avett Brothers, the promoters, and those at Central Park.
