Oceans Calling will once again attempt to make its debut on the shores of Ocean City, MD this fall. The oceanfront festival, canceled in 2022 due to Hurricane Ian one day before gates were set to open, is set to hit Ocean City Inlet Beach on September 29th–October 1st, 2023.

A number of acts set to perform at the C3 Presents and O.A.R.-organized festival in 2022 will return for 2023, including top artists The Lumineers and Alanis Morisette. Other headliners include Jack Johnson (who shares top billing with Morissette on Friday) and John Mayer on Saturday, with The Lumineers closing out the fest on Sunday.

The rest of the lineup hosts a diverse array of artists like reggae heavyweights Slightly Stoopid and Dirty Heads alongside ’90s rock acts Third Eye BlindIncubus, and Weezer. Ocean City will get a little bit country with Sheryl Crow on Saturday and Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats will supply the soul on Sunday.

Other acts set to appear at Oceans Calling 2023 include Michael Franti & SpearheadNoah KahanPeach PitJimmy Eat WorldBen Harper & The Innocent CriminalsFitz And The TantrumsGrace PotterThe Wallflowers, and many more. Hometown heroes and festival co-founders O.A.R. will host a special “O.A.R. & Friends” set on Sunday in addition to the band’s normal set on Friday.

In addition to a loaded lineup of musicians, Oceans Calling will celebrate the culture of coastal Maryland. The festival will feature appearances and cooking demonstrations by chefs Robert Irvine and Amanda Freitag, with a chef stage hosted by actor Jason Biggs. Festivalgoers will also have access to the Jolly Roger amusement park located within the festival grounds.
