Warren Haynes, John Medeski, George Porter Jr., Joe Russo Announce Benefit Concert At The Cap

The Capitol Theatre announced an exciting concert today, billed as “One Night Only”. The group, comprised of guitarist/vocalist Warren Haynes (Gov’t Mule), keyboardist John Medeski (Medeski, Martin & Wood), bassist/vocalist George Porter Jr. (The Meters), and drummer Joe Russo (Joe Russo’s Almost Dead), will perform together on Friday, October 5th. “One Night Only” was organized to benefit The Dystrophic Epidermolysis Bullosa Research Association of America (DEBRA of America).

According to their website, DEBRA of America is the only U.S. nonprofit providing all-inclusive support to the Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) community, through funding research for a cure and by providing free programs and services for those with EB—”The Worst Disease You’ve Never Heard Of.™” For more information on the organization, head to their website.
