Oteil & Friends have announced a two-night run of late-night performances during the first weekend of New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.

In a Facebook post to Oteil Burbridge‘s page on Tuesday, the Dead & Company bassist revealed the run of shows at the Joy Theater on April 23rd and 24th. He will be joined by Eric Krasno, Jeff Sipe, Jason Crosby, Junior Mack, Lamar Williams Jr., Tom Guarna, Alfreda Gerald and Weedie Braimah during the performances.
Burbridge will be pulling double duty at Jazz Fest this year as he is also one of the headliners at the festival with surviving Grateful Dead members Bob Weir, Bill Kreutzmann, and Mickey Hart, as well as Jeff Chimenti and John Mayer in Dead & Company. Other headliners at the 51st installment of Jazz Fest include The Who, Stevie Nicks, Foo Fighters, Lizzo, Lionel Richie, The Lumineers, The Black Crowes, and many, many more.
A pre-sale for tickets to Oteil & Friends at Jazz Fest After Dark begins Thursday, February 13th and runs from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. CT. Fans can access the pre-sale using the code OTEIL2020. The general on-sale begins Friday, February 14th at 9 a.m. CT. Head here for tickets.

On March 21st at Brooklyn Comes Alive at Brooklyn, NY’s Avant Gardner, members of Dead & Company, Soulive, Lettuce, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, and many more will come together for a special performance of Oteil & Friends.
