The Meter Men with Page McConnell will officially open Bowery Presents’ new Boston-area venue The Sinclair. The musicians will perform at the Cambridge, MA venue on October 30. McConnell is also slated to perform with the members of The Meters at New York’s BB King Blues Club on October 31 and November 1 as well as Washington, DC’s Howard Theater on November 2. The New York-based Bowery Presents has gradually expanded its reach throughout the Northeast in recent years.

With Phish having just finishing their summer tour with a 3 night run in Colorado and laying low until (fingers crossed) a New Years run at Madison Square Garden, keyboardist Page McConnell will keep his chops sharp with a number of performances with The Meter Men in Boston and NewYork City. The October 30th performance will see Page and The Men as the official opening band at the new Cambridge, MA venue, The Sinclair, owned by New York City-based, The Bowery Presents. The last few years have seen Bowery Presents expanding their number of venues throughout the Northeast. Halloween and November 1st will see shows in New York City itself at BB King’s Blue’s Club, followed up by a November 2nd show in our nation’s capitol at the Howard Theater.

Page has performed at BB King’s in the past with George Porter, when he was there as part of PBS (Porter, Batiste and Stoltz).
