Pantera will tour North America for the first time in over 20 years for newly announced reunion concerts in the United States and Canada. The shows will feature support from Lamb of God and are interspersed with dates opening for Metallica‘s M72 World Tour.
The tour kicks off on July 28th in Burgettstown, PA at The Pavilion at Star Lake and runs through September 15th when it ends in Bristow, VA. Along the way, Pantera will top lineups at Welcome To Rockville, Inkcarceration, Louder Than Life, and more.
These concerts will mark the first domestic shows for the revamped Pantera lineup featuring original members Philip Anselmo and Rex Brown with ringers Charlie Benante (Anthrax) and Zakk Wylde (Ozzy Osbourne, Black Label Society). The band founded by the late Abbott brothers Vinnie Paul and Dimebag Darrell unveiled its new lineup last year with a run of South American dates including performances at Slipknot‘s traveling Knotfest.
