It’s been a busy year for Papadosio, and the band’s 2017 will culminate with two final performances in Nashville, Tennessee, to ring in the New Year. The Asheville, North Carolina-based outfit will play Exit/In on Saturday, December 30th, with Doyle, followed by a proper New Year’s Eve celebration the next night at Marathon Music Works with Zoogma and Push/Pull. It has also been announced that Dosio’s Anthony Thogmartin will host a free pre-party under his Earthcry moniker at The Back Corner to get the celebration started on Friday, December 29th, along with Liferoot. (Check out full NYE run info here).

Papadosio Announces Two-Night New Year’s Eve Celebration

This year has marked continuing growth and evolution for Papadosio, a band that is over a decade into its career. In 2017 alone, the group has collected an enviable list of major headlining performances, including at iconic venues like Red Rocks Amphitheatre and powerhouse festivals like Electric Forest, Oregon Eclipse, Peach Festival, Sonic Bloom, and more. With their eyes set on the new year, the constant boundary pushing that Papadosio has become known for will be in full force as we move into 2018.

Electric Forest 2017 Recap

Originally out of Oxford, Mississippi, Zoogma is able to blend a live rock aspect with that of an electronic, DJ-influenced sound. The quartet of Brock Bowling, Matt Harris, Justin Hasting, and Ryan Nall have toured all over the country and played festivals such as Camp Bisco, Wakarusa, The Werk Out, and Luna Light, among others over the years. With the release of their latest album, A Future In Blue, this past August, Zoogma continues to push the sonic boundaries of beat-making.

Liam Collins, also known as Push/Pull, has the main goal to “gyrate your speaker cones, excite your mind, and move your feet”—and live up to this lofty goal he does. With an ever-developing attention to detail, Push/Pull has the ability to glitch-out, all while creating a water-like ebb-and-flow sound that captivates and entrances all listeners.
