Osiris Media has announced the creation of a new podcast, Past, Present, Future, Live!. The new series will feature discussions with artists about their early inspirations and current trajectory, as well as live performances.
The first four episodes of Past, Present, Future, Live! will feature guests Eric Krasno, Rhett Miller, Marco Benevento, and Ted Leo. The first episode, with Krasno, will be available on streaming services June 2nd.
The show’s host (and Osiris Media CEO) RJ Bee will dig deep with musicians as they go all the way back to their first lessons and paid gigs. Through in-depth interviewing, Bee will explore musicians’ earliest influences and what early listening and performing habits made them the artists they are today. Just as importantly, Bee will tie those early inspirations into the creative processes that the artists practice today. Finally, all of this contextual information will culminate with a live performance from the artist.
Every Tuesday will bring a new audio upload of the interview to streaming services, as well as a performance video to the Osiris website and YouTube. Each episode of the podcast will also be accompanied by a playlist chronicling the music and artists mentioned, available on Spotify and the Osiris website.

We are consistently trying to push the boundaries of what podcasts can bring to music fans. Every artist I interview for this show teaches me a lot I didn’t know before, and I hope our audience will learn as much as I have. We’re excited to debut this new show for music fans everywhere.

Eric Krasno and Marco Benevento are two of many artists taking part in the first-annual Quarantine Comes Alive. The virtual music festival features a lineup of over 60 artists sharing fresh, original content on Saturday, May 30th.
