Paul Hoffman and dobro master Anders Beck have announced a handful of side gigs during a late-April/early-May lull in Greensky Bluegrass‘s touring schedule. First, on Saturday, April 28th, at Denver, CO’s Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom, Beck and Hoffman will be joined for one night only by Cris Jacobs, Todd Herrington, and Dusty Simmons for a special performance under the moniker phAb5—a name cleverly comprised of the initials of the bandleaders in addition to reading phonetically (like “fab five”). The performance will feature support from Part & Parcel.
The following week, Anders Beck and Paul Hoffman will mount a couple shows as phAb, their ongoing duo side project. The phAb duo performances will take place on Tuesday, May 2nd at the Aladdin Theater in Portland, OR, and Wednesday, May 3rd at the Tractor Tavern in Seattle, WA.
