Greensky Bluegrass‘ Paul Hoffman and Anders Beck have announced three new phAb4 2020 performance dates. They will be joined by pickin’ phenom William Apostol (Billy Strings) on guitar and Todd Herrington (Cris Jacobs Band) on bass.
The first show will take place at Washington’s FoCo in Fort Collins, CO on March 11th. They will then go to Ten Mile Music Hall in Frisco, CO on March 12th before heading to Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom in Denver, CO on the 13th. Multi-instrumentalist Brad Parsons will open for the phAb4 for the final night of the three-night run.
It’s tough for fans to know exactly what to expect from this quartet, as they have never all shared the stage in this formation. However, going by previous phAb shows, it should be an amazing night of music, to say the least. One should expect the musical chemistry between Hoffman’s mandolin and Beck’s dobro to flow seamlessly with the guitar and bass abilities of Apostol and Herrington.
Paul Hoffman and Anders Beck have played many phAb shows in the past. What started as a duo grew to a run of phAb3 shows with guitarist Scott Law, phAb5 shows with Cris Jacobs, Todd Herrington, and Dusty Simmons, as well as a string of phAb6 shows with Holly Bowling, Jay Cobb Anderson, Tyler Thompson, and Andrew Altman earlier this year.
