Today, Sir Paul McCartney has shared a double A-Side single, featuring two brand-new tracks—”I Don’t Know” and “Come On To Me”. The release of these two songs comes with the official announcement of the living legend’s seventeenth studio album and his first new album in five years. Titled Egypt Station, the latest record from the Macca will be released on September 7th via Capitol.

However, the announcement of this new album is not necessarily unexpected. On social media on Monday, coinciding with McCartney’s 76th birthday, the famed former Beatle teased his new project with a cryptic graphic with the name of the new album.

In a press release, McCartney elaborated on his choice in naming the album. He explained, “I liked the words ‘Egypt Station.’ It reminded me of the ‘album’ albums we used to make.” He continued, “Egypt Station starts off at the station on the first song and then each song is like a different station. So it gave us some idea to base all the songs around that. I think of it as a dream location that the music emanates from.”
