[Originally published 3/11/21 10 a.m. ET]: Paul McCartney has something up his sleeve, and it involves a number of today’s contemporary pop artists ranging from Damon Albarn (Gorillaz), Beck, Anderson .Paak, Phoebe Bridgers, and more.

A brief video shared to McCartney’s Instagram on Wednesday shows 12 dice, each with a different color, a different name, and all bearing the three dots that would connect the message to McCartney’s latest studio album, McCartney III, which arrived late last year. Other names seen on the dice in the video included St. Vincent, Khruangbin, Josh Homme, 3D, Ed O’Brien, Dominic Fike, and Blood Orange.

McCartney didn’t share any other details to go with the video, but fans are taking it amongst themselves to connect the (dice) dots to assume that a covers project featuring the above-mentioned artists and the songs from the McCartney III tracklist is being planned for release in the near future.
