The Peach Music Festival has announced the jam-packed lineup for its 10th-anniversary event, set to take place at Scranton, PA’s Montage Mountain from Thursday, June 30th through Sunday, July 3rd, 2022.
The four-day music and camping experience, produced by Live Nation, will feature headlining performances by Trey Anastasio Band, The Black Crowes, Billy Strings, and Joe Russo’s Almost Dead in addition to Goose, The Revivalists, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, and the reunion of The Word, the blues/gospel supergroup featuring John Medeski (Medeski Martin & Wood), Robert Randolph, Luther and Cody Dickinson (North Mississippi Allstars), and Ray Ray Holloman.
The Peach Music Festival began in 2012 as the first Allman Brothers Band-inspired festival in the Northeast, and while most of the original members have passed on, the spirit of that brotherhood is alive and well at The Peach 2022. In addition to a Jaimoe & Friends set led by the founding ABB drummer and sole surviving original member of the group, the festival will include a number of Allman-adjacent projects like biographer Alan Paul‘s Friends of the Brothers, Duane Betts, and Brother and Sister, a duo project by Vaylor Trucks and Melody Trucks, the progeny of the late drummer, Butch Trucks.
The Peach Music Festival 2022 will also appropriately feature a performance by Trouble No More, the outfit newly assembled to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Eat A Peach this spring. The band is comprised of an inter-generational mix of ABB descendants, collaborators, proteges, and extended “family” members including Brandon “Taz” Niederauer (guitar/vocals), Daniel Donato (guitar/vocals), Dylan Niederauer (bass guitar), Jack Ryan (drums), Nikki Glaspie (drums), Lamar Williams Jr. (vocals), Peter Levin (keys), and Roosevelt Collier (pedal steel guitar).
The 10th-anniversary edition of The Peach Music Festival will also include performances by Steel Pulse, Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Evening, G. Love & The Juice, Rayland Baxter, The Wailers performing Bob Marley’s Legend, Ripe, Keller Williams, Doom Flamingo, TAUK, Andy Frasco & The U.N., Celisse, The Motet, Marco Benevento, Star Kitchen, Karina Rykman, The Nth Power featuring Jennifer Hartswick, The Bogie Band featuring Joe Russo, Samantha Fish, Spaga, Hannah Wicklund, Lacuna (Holly Bowling and Tom Hamilton), Eric Krasno & The Assembly and Brandon “Taz” Niederauer & Friends.
In addition, Dogs In A Pile, Kitchen Dwellers, Maggie Rose, The Shady Recruits, Eggy, Little Stranger, Yam Yam, The Wild Feathers, JD Simo, Cordovas, Consider The Source, Midnight North, JB Strauss, Gabriel Kelley, Sicard Hollow, Daniel Donato, Bobby Lee Rodgers, Wax Owls, The Jauntee, Great Time, GA-20, Cycles, Pixie & The Partygrass Boys, Miss Mojo, Mezcalero Sound Hole, Muskrat Lightning, and Dry Reef will hit the stage at the event.
