While they already have one of the most exciting lineups of the summer, The Peach Music Festival 2020 upped the ante even higher on Thursday with the addition of Medeski Scofield Martin & Wood. The world-class “avant-groove” quartet will make a rare live appearance when The Peach returns to Scranton, PA’s Montage Mountain on July 2nd–5th.

Medeski Martin & Wood, comprised of keyboardist John Medeski, drummer Billy Martin, bassist Chris Wood, will link back up with frequent collaborator and jazz guitar master John Scofield to join a lineup that already boasts names like Oysterhead, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead featuring Oteil Burbridge on bass, The String Cheese Incident, Rebelution, Umphrey’s McGee, moe., Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, and many more.

As previously announced, this year’s Peach Music Festival will get attendees in the Independence Day spirit with a fireworks display on each of its four nights, in line with the new dates for 2020–last year’s festival took place at the end of July.
