On Wednesday, Pearl Jam shared pro-shot footage of “Alive”, filmed during “The Home Shows” at Safeco Field in Seattle, WA on August 8th, 2018. Then, on Friday, Pearl Jam streamed that entire performance on Nugs.tv, which is available now on-demand throughout Labor Day Weekend.

The August 8th performance was the first of two at Safeco Field, which kicked off the third and final leg of the band’s 2018 world tour. Furthermore, the event also marked the first time Pearl Jam had returned home for a performance in nearly 10 years. The seven-date North American leg was thus split into two sections, “The Home Shows” (8/8, 8/10) in Seattle, and “The Away Shows” that followed in Missoula, MT (8/13), Chicago, IL (8/18, 8/20), and Boston, MA (9/2, 9/4).

Spanning 32 songs and over three hours, the North American tour opener included hits like “Better Man”, “Even Flow”, and “Elderly Woman Behind the Counter in a Small Town”, and even some deeper cuts like “State of Love and Trust”, “Given to Fly”, and “Porch”. Furthermore, the setlist also included some choice covers like The White Stripes‘ “We’re Going to Be Friends”, Pink Floyd‘s “Comfortably Numb”, The Beatles‘ “I’ve Got A Feeling”, Neil Young‘s “Rockin’ in the Free World”, and more. During the first of two encores, Brandi Carlile even took the stage for a rendition of “Again Today”, off her 2007 album, The Story.

Check out the first three songs of the performance, “Long Road”, “Release”, and “Low Light”, as well as “Alive” from the middle of the second encore below, and scroll down for a detailed setlist.
