On Saturday night, Lisbon, Portugal’s NOS Alive festival came to a close with performances by Pearl Jam, Jack WhiteFranz FerdinandMGMT, and more.

Pearl Jam hit the festival’s main stage following White’s performance, working through a set of fan-favorite originals and classic rock covers. For their five-song encore, the band went heavy on the cover sing-alongs. John Lennon‘s peace anthem “Imagine” was up first, followed by Pink Floyd‘s “Comfortably Numb”, the second Floyd tune of the evening after their mid-set “Interstellar Overdrive”.

Two classic tracks from Pearl Jam’s debut album, Ten, came next with “Porch” and “Alive”, the former of which featured some riffing on Jack White’s iconic “Seven Nation Army”, still reverberating in the heads of the crowd and the band alike after closing out White’s set.

Finally, Eddie Vedder sent the crowd into hysterics when he welcomed Jack White himself to join the band for their final song, a cover of Neil Young‘s “Rockin’ In The Free World”, Vedder running around the stage and tossing his tambourines to the crowd as White soloed.
