After postponing its world tour in March 2020 at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, Pearl Jam has announced new 2022 tour dates. The stretch of nearly three-dozen concerts will take the alt-rockers around the globe from May through September in support of 2020’s Gigaton.
The tour will now begin in San Diego, CA on May 3rd and features West Coast stops at Los Angeles, CA’s The Forum (5/6, 5/7); Glendale, AZ (5/9); Oakland, CA (5/12, 5/13); Fresno, CA (5/16); Sacramento, CA (5/18); and Las Vegas, NV’s MGM Grand Garden Arena (5/18). All North American tour dates will feature support from Pluralone, helmed by former Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist Josh Klinghoffer, who will also join Pearl Jam as a touring musician. Klinghoffer recently hit the road with PJ frontman Eddie Vedder as part of his backing band for The Earthling Tour, alongside his former RHCP bandmate Chad Smith.

After a lengthy jaunt through Europe, where Pearl Jam will link up with opening acts Pixies, IDLES, Shame, and White Reaper, the band will head back to North America in September. That nine-show stretch will see Pearl Jam pick up in Quebec City, Quebec (9/1) before making stops in Ottowa, Ontario (9/3) and Toronto, Ontario (9/8) prior to a concert at New York City’s Madison Square Garden (9/11). The tour will then move through Camden, NJ (9/14); Nashville, TN (9/16); St. Louis, MO (9/18); and Oklahoma City, OK (9/20) before wrapping up in Denver, CO (9/22).
