Phil Lesh & Friends have announced a two-night run at the recently opened Salt Shed in Chicago, IL on March 11th and 12th.

“Chicago, I cant wait to see you for two nights at The Salt Shed!” Lesh wrote in a surprise announcement posted to social media.

The Grateful Dead bassist will be joined by a band featuring his son Grahame Lesh, Trey Anastasio Band members James Casey, Natalie Cressman, and Jennifer Hartswick, as well as Jason Crosby, John Molo, and “one Very Special guest soon the [sic] be announced!”

A venue presale for Phil Lesh & Friends at The Salt Shed will begin on Thursday, January 19th at 10 a.m. CT. Tickets will then go on sale to the general public on Friday, January 20th at 10 a.m. CT.

The announcement comes after Lesh added a second show at Denver’s Mission Ballroom in February and was named as one of the headliners for Skull & Roses in Ventura, CA and the inaugural Echoland Music Festival in Live Oak, FL. He also recently played a two-night run celebrating the 100th anniversary of The Warfield in San Francisco with Rick Mitarotonda of Goose and the Trey Anastasio Band horns.
