The shows are billed as a “Surprise Party,” although the surprise will be enjoyed by the audience as the lineup of guests to perform alongside the Grateful Dead bassist will not be revealed until the curtain goes up the first night. The three-night stand will culminate on March 15th with a show on Lesh’s actual birthday.

Additionally, the announcement confirmed that fans who originally purchased tickets for Lesh’s postponed Phil-O-Ween run this past October will indeed have their purchase(s) honored for the upcoming shows. Ticket holders must bring their “Phil-O-Ween” tickets to the venue to gain entry, or request a refund through point of purchase if they cannot make those dates.

Lesh’s transition into an octogenarian will also be celebrated at this year’s rescheduled LOCKN’ Festival come mid-June.

Tickets for the Surprise Party run of shows go on sale to the general public on January 3rd, at 12 p.m. EST, and are available through Lesh’s website.
