Phil Lesh & Friends will return to The Capitol Theatre in October 2022 for a nine-show Halloween residency. These concerts will mark the Grateful Dead bassist’s 100-show anniversary with the Port Chester, NY dating back to 2012.

The 2022 Phil-O-Ween residency will begin the weekend of October 14th–16th and resume the following weekend of the 21st–23rd. Phil Lesh and his yet-unnamed Friends will then perform on Friday and Saturday of the next week before taking a break on the 30th and closing out the run on Halloween Monday.

Tickets for the 2022 Phil Lesh & Friends Halloween residency at The Capitol Theatre go on sale on Friday, March 25th at 12 p.m. ET. This announcement arrives on the Grateful Dead bassist’s 82nd birthday today, March 15th.

After postponing his 2020 Capitol Theatre residency—which was also meant to serve as an 80th birthday celebration—multiple times, Lesh finally staged the nine-show run last October. The stint began with the highly anticipated reunion of The Phil Lesh Quintet, aka”The Q”, with Phil playing alongside guitarists Warren Haynes and Jimmy Herring, drummer John Molo, and keyboardist Rob Barraco. The residency also saw Lesh joined by such artists as Stuart BogieEric D. JohnsonGrahame LeshJoe Russo, Nicki Bluhm, Benmont Tench, Taylor GoldsmithAmy HelmM.C. Taylor, and more.
