Phil Lesh brought his Terrapin Family Band to Red Rocks on Wednesday with support from The Infamous Stringdusters.

The Stringdusters kicked off the evening’s festivities with a spirited set that saw them welcome Lesh for a rendition of “Wake The Dead”, which you can watch below.

After The Infamous Stringdusters’ set, Phil linked up with his Terrapin Family Band featuring his son and guitarist/vocalist Grahame Lesh, Ross James, Alex Koford, Nathan Graham, and Elliott Peck for two sets of Grateful Dead favorites and choice covers of classics by The Band, Warren Zevon, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, and more, with members of the Dusters rotating in on various songs.

To close out the evening (following Phil’s customary “donor rap”), The Infamous Stringdusters joined Phil Lesh & The Terrapin Family Band onstage for an emotional rendition of “Terrapin Station” that saw Phil and Grahame trade off vocal lines.
