On Tuesday, Phil Lesh announced a new Phil & Friends performance in Las Vegas, NV. The Grateful Dead bassist will make his way to The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on Saturday, May 4th. The roster of musicians that will round out Phil’s band in Sin City has yet to be announced.
Tickets for Phil Lesh & Friends in Las Vegas go on sale this Friday, February 22nd, at 10 a.m. local time here.
Phil Lesh will also convene a group of talented friends for his annual birthday blowout at The Capitol Theatre on March 14th, 15th, and 16th. The lineup for those shows will feature Benmont Tench (Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers), John Scofield, Jackie Greene, Luther Dickinson (North Mississippi Allstars), Amy Helm, Grahame Lesh, and John Molo.

In addition to his upcoming Phil and Friends shows, Phil Lesh has a number of upcoming dates with his Terrapin Family Band on the books including a two-night run at Chicago, IL’s Thalia Hall on March 7th and 8th, followed by another two-night stand at New Orleans, LA’s Joy Theater on April 25th and 26th. The band will then head out to Colorado for a headlining show at Morrison’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre on May 29th, as well as an appearance at Floyd, VA’s FloydFest in July.
