Recently, Grateful Dead bassist Phil Lesh detailed his five-night Halloween run from October 25th through October 31st. The highly anticipated run will see Lesh joined by The Terrapin Family Band—featuring guitarist Ross James, drummer Alex Koford, keyboardist Jason Crosby, and guitarist (and Lesh’s son) Grahame Lesh—in addition to vocalist Nicki Bluhm and pedal steel guitarist Robert Randolph. For the second-to-last night of the run on October 30th ahead of Lesh’s Halloween performance at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York, Lesh will hit the Brooklyn Bowl. Today, the Grateful Dead bassist has announced that Dark Star Orchestra keyboard player Rob Barraco will also join the collective during this New York City performance.

Phil Lesh and Rob Barraco are certainly no strangers to one another. Barraco was a member of the Phil Lesh Quintet (also known as The Q), though, in recent years, the two have performed with one another with less frequency. For the Brooklyn Bowl show, Barraco will tag in for Terrapin Family Band keys player, Jason Crosby, though Crosby is still slated to perform for the other four dates of the run including the Port Chester Halloween show at The Capitol Theatre; The Anthem in Washington, DC, on October 25th; Convention Hall in Asbury Park, New Jersey on October 26th; and BB&T Pavillion in Camden, New Jersey on October 27th. Tickets for the October 30th Brooklyn Bowl show with Phil Lesh and The Terrapin Family Band and special guests Nicki Bluhm, Robert Randolph, and Rob Barraco go on sale this Friday, September 15th at 12 pm (EST) here.
