Phil Lesh will make his highly-anticipated debut at the new Ford Amphitheater at Coney Island Boardwalk this week, bringing an esteemed lineup of “Friends” for the two shows. From September 14-15, Lesh will be playing with Jackie Greene, all of Soulive (aka Eric Krasno, Alan Evans, and Neal Evans), Karl Denson, Jason Crosby and The Shady Horns (Eric “Benny” Bloom and Ryan Zoidis). What a lineup!
Though the new Amphitheater is a beautiful spot and will pair perfectly with the Grateful Dead catalog, there is an alternative for fans who can’t make it. Today, nugs.tv has announced a full live stream from the two-night run, so you can enjoy the Grateful grooves from your very own couch!
