Following the resounding success of this past summer’s 13-night “Baker’s Dozen” residency at Madison Square Garden this summer, Phish has announced their return to The Garden for a four-night New Year’s Run.

The run is set to begin on Thursday, December 28th and finish with the band’s traditional 3-set New Year’s Eve blowout on Sunday, December 31st. The four December shows will bring Phish’s number of shows at Madison Square Garden to 56 overall, and 17 this year (17 in ’17!).

However, this will be the band’s first time playing at The Garden underneath the newest addition to the MSG rafters: Phish’s very own “championship” banner, hoisted to the rafters on the Baker’s Dozen’s final day–officially proclaimed as “Phish Day” by the New York City Mayor’s Office–commemorating their historic run of “13 consecutive nights at The Garden.”

You can watch Phish’s Baker’s Dozen banner get raised to the rafters of Madison Square Garden on the final night of the Baker’s Dozen below via The Garden’s Facebook page:

This year’s Phish New Year’s Run will mark the 11th time the band has rung in the New Year at the “World’s Most Famous Arena” (not counting ’94, when the band made their MSG debut on 12/30 amidst a 4-night, 4-city New Year’s Run that finished the following night in Boston). The quartet has hosted their traditional year-end run in NYC in all but two years in the 3.0 era. The other two, 2009 and 2014, were hosted at American Airlines Arena in Miami, FL.

An online ticket request period is now underway at http://tickets.phish.com (ending Monday, October 2 at 10AM ET). Tickets go on sale to the general public beginning Friday, October 6 at Noon ET at ticketmaster.com or charge by phone at 866-858-0008.

Phish and CID Entertainment are also offering travel packages for the New Year’s Run (which include hotel and tickets). Phish will be donating their proceeds of these travel packages to the WaterWheel Foundation. Travel Packages go on sale Friday 9/22 at Noon ET at bit.ly/PhishNYE17_TP
